Nice weekend hanging out in the Airstream, but Byam refused to have a good picture taken.

Conditioning for the Upcoming Season

In the Airstream this weekend, to enjoy the cooler autumn weather.  Our clear coated aluminum with the satin finish, the leaves falling did not reflect well.

To start conditioning for the upcoming hunting season, Byam did have a great run.  She stayed mostly on the mowed trail, taking advantage of the cooling breeze.  But when the tall grass rustled, she was off into the weeds.  Back in the park, Byam let us pull burrs for 1-1/2 hour before she got a shower in the Airstream.

Byam is still waiting for S to come home for the evening.

It reminds me how she was when as a puppy newly home with us.  With 6 sisters and 3 brothers, all she wanted was some peace and quiet!  So back then she wanted to sleep on the other side of the room, while we kept moving to be close to our baby Byam.

Now she is glad to cuddle.  She will snuggle closely to me tonight.  Tomorrow she will be happy to see him.  So. Very. Happy. 

Dinner

Byam always is ready for  her dinner, and would eat as much as possible.
Good thing we carefully measure her food, so she keeps her girly figure.

Low Flying

Stopping for a night at a city park, Byam enjoyed her time watching the low flying geese.

On the way to visit our friends Ed & Eileen, we experienced a crop-dusting plane flying low.

Tri-State Camper Rally - Theme for 2014 - Red Neck Rally

Always fun group and this year's theme was "Redneck".

We pulled in to Scenic Park campground in South Sioux City NE for the 2014 version of the Tri-State Rally.

 

We were excited to see our friends and met new friends too.

We skyped with Chad, missed him as he was on duty overseas. 

We ate, and ate, and ate some more.

A good time was had by all!  Mandie, Cynthia, and Sue are known for fun rallies.
