Byam did not like the hanging bridge over Rock Creek, but did venture out a bit to see her boy.

Wading is such fun, but getting the ash-like Montana dirt ground into your hair is more fun!   

After another walk in the stream, Byam was carried back to the Jeep.

We pulled over for gas, and I was not sure that Byam would ever want to leave the prairie dogs! She did not bark, nor whine to get loose - but she did stay focused!

Good Girl in a Bad Land

Badlands South Dakota’s Badlands is a very surreal place.

Dogs are not allowed on the trails, but we enjoyed the views together.
